At Pepita79 we make handcrafted jewelry that shines (almost) as much as you.
We design each piece and bring it to life with precious acrylics and a looot of love, because we like what is special, what stands out, what has personality.
Here we don't make jewelry to go unnoticed. If you're the kind of person who says “I need this in my life!”, you're in the perfect place.
Because if there's one thing we know, it's that vanilla is not your thing... nor ours.
Our philosophy: giving craftsmanship a fresh twist. We mix color, style, and good vibes with attention to detail and a flawless finish.
Everything is born in our workshop in Málaga, where we design, paint, and assemble each piece by hand. And since each little gem is made with care, no two are alike: they are unique, just like you.
And who is behind this whole party? 💃🏻
Behind Pepita 79 are Virginia and Juan. And although telling you who we are sounds a bit like a job interview, there is one thing we are very clear about: together we make an unstoppable team.
I am Virginia, and if something defines me, it's that I don't stop until everything is as it should be. A textbook perfectionist (but with affection), I am the one who checks every last detail before considering something finished.
Juan is the creative soul. The one with crazy ideas that sometimes leave me breathless... and that, to my surprise (and relief), almost always end up working wonderfully.
We've spent more than half our lives together, and of course, we've picked up each other's quirks:
I have become more daring (although I always carry a plan B in my pocket), and he no longer sleeps peacefully if something is not perfectly aligned.
We are both engineers (or at least that's what our degree says), although we've always been more about breaking the rules than following them.
We have been in the Ecommerce world for over 10 years, and although that has given us plenty of experience, our restless minds do not understand pause.
We have had a thousand parallel projects.
Juan is the kind of person who dives headfirst into anything with buttons, propellers, or circuits: 3D printing, drones, photography... if it can be taken apart, he has already done it.
I'm more hands-on: ceramics, embroidery, illustration, video editing... I devour new techniques as if there were no tomorrow. If it can be learned (and perfected), I'm all in 🚀
Between the two of us, we add up to a rather curious cocktail of skills: design, content, technology, assembly, creativity... and, above all, a strong desire to create beautiful and well-made things.
This is how Pepita 79 was born ✨
Not from a master plan nor a grid Excel sheet, but from many late-night conversations of "what if...?", from the huge desire to create something with soul, something different, something ours.

And yes, we also pack, respond to messages, and put out fires when they arise. We spend hours searching for the best materials, refining the designs, and giving that special touch that makes each piece of jewelry have a soul.
