Copies and Plagiarism

There are things that can't be copied: the soul, the care, the intention.

Pepita79 wasn't born overnight. It was born from many sleepless nights, failed attempts, thoughtful decisions, hand-drawn illustrations, endless hours of design, testing, writing, photography, and manufacturing.

Every piece of jewelry you see, every word, every color combination, every campaign... is the result of a deep, unique, and very personal creative process. It's no coincidence. It's work, talent, and a lot of dedication.

And that's why, it deeply hurts us to see how other brands shamelessly imitate our style, our texts, our designs, and even our colors.

We’re not talking about healthy inspiration or coincidences. We’re talking about plagiarism.

And plagiarism, besides being ugly, is illegal.

Pepita79 is a registered trademark

That means the misuse of our designs, images, products, texts, illustrations, names, colors, or visual identity may constitute a rights infringement, legally prosecutable.

We have both trademark and authorship registrations, and we will not hesitate to act against any attempt to copy or appropriate our work. Whether it’s a direct replica, a disguised imitation, or an unauthorized “tribute.”

If we detect this type of activity, we reserve the right to:

• Contacting the brand or person involved to request the immediate removal of the content

• Taking legal action through civil or criminal channels to defend our rights

• Publicly exposing the case if we consider there is harm to Pepita79’s image or to our community

If you are a brand: create your own

We don’t need more clones. We need more projects with identity, purpose, and truth.

Creating something of your own takes time. We know. But it’s the only way to build something with soul.

If you are starting out and what we do inspires you, we’re glad. But turn it into momentum to create your own universe, not to copy ours.
